personal shopper business cards
good idea or bad?! home business?

so im thinking of starting my own business.
from home.
i was wondering if anybody could give me any tips?
maybe if you have started a business… or just have some great ideas?
i would like to offer personal shopper services…
does anybody know how i would go about that ?
im not trying to make a career out of it but its something i enjoy and an area i would love to explore.
i have in the past shopped for friends and they have always commented on how efficient a shopper i am.

plus i was thinking i could make get some webspace and get the word out there through friends and family…
websites are cheeper than business cards i think ?

anyway any insight knowlage or wisdom would be great :)
thanks.
plus any ideas for a catchy webspace name would be brill .. something to do with shopping – like the website header / main name. i think its quite important as i is what i will be associated with. “let me handle it” oh i dont know im rubbish at that sort of thing.

You have a good idea, however there are tons of these types of web sites to shop from. The competition would be hard. However, you have the right idea on networking it through friends and family. Going through them first is the best idea, that is where you will have most of your support from.
You can also contact other web site owners to collaborate the two and work out some compensation plan between the two. Some leg work there too.
You need to invest in business’s cards as well as a web site. They do come in handy a lot.
Before you invest the time and effort in starting your own business, make sure its something you will enjoy because there is nothing worse then starting something that’s not what it’s cracked up to be then putting it down later wasting all that valuable time that could of been put towards something better for you.
I created a blog on my 360 page on home based business opportunities. Your more then welcome to take a look at it for some ideas to take a look at. If you find one you’d like, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.
