Rude Sales Assistants
How can I deal with my boss?
I am an executive assistant for a sales manager. He is very polite most of the time but about twice a week he gets into a really bad mood and can be quite rude. I haven’t been working there long and I am starting to make a lot of mistakes becuase I am nervous around him. The more I get nervous the more mistakes I make. The more I make mistakes the more angry he gets. It’s a cycle. Is there something I can do to make this situation better?
Don’t be nervous! Act as if you have alot of confidence in yourself. Try pretend as if your boss is not around he is transparent. When you do things and did not make any mistake tell yourself “See! I can do it” Build up your confidence. When your boss scolds you or get angry with you listen and after listening to the music erase it off your mind tell yourself “I will prove to my boss that I am better!”.
Remember the more you get nervous the more mistake you will get. Take a deep breathe! Relax! Treat your boss as a spoil radio that on itself and with a spoil switch that cant be off. Tell yourself that one day you will find a solution to off the radio.
