for those of you dont know Waitrose its just a supermarket, retail shop….this is my first job im applying for its for retail/sales assistant..Im 17 years old…….thanks for the help
Always be sure to tell them skills related to your job, in the retail area you want to make sure you emphasize that you are a people person, you want to make sure your employer knows that you love to help people no matter how little the help is. You also to list skills such as mathematical or organizational and back it up with an extracurricular activity you may be involved with. SHOW ENTHUSIASM
What makes it right for you depends.
If you are a people person that’s a plus.
If you like jobs that require patience, diligence etc that’s a plus. Especially if you will be restocking shelves etc.
But you also want to remind the employer that you are willing to learn whatever it takes to make a great TEAM MEMBER! IT is ALL about teamwork!
