Is a secret shopper job a scam?
So is this a legit job or is it just some scam. Because i signed up to be a secret shopper, and they sent me a page of about 15 websites to go to, and all the websites i have to fill stuff out and give my personal information. There are websites like..insurance quotes, life insurance quotes, temperpedic samples, and stuff like that. So im just wondering is it like a real thing or is it a scam to to get your information out to all these companies?
I’ve seen those ad’s all over the internet. I’ve even seen them on Craigslist and it always seems like it’s a scam. When you click the link, it reroutes you to a whole bunch of junk web sites trying to sell you stuff you don’t need.
Secret shoppers do exist, they works in all kinds of stores like H&M, Old Navy or even drug stores like Duane Reade. Usually you have to inquire within the store or work through an agency to get a position within their security team — not online.
