Fashion show?
So I am a 22 year old working my way to the top of the eating disorder awareness world. This disease is killing people every day and turning beautiful people into unattractive victims. I am trying to become a coordinater for NEDAW (national eating disorder awareness week) and I would love to put on a fashion show showing boys and girls that everyone is beautiful and weight is not what defines you or makes you attractive. Would this be a good idea and what suggestions would you have? I work at an upscale hair salon so hair and makeup would be taken care of and one of our clients is the personal shopper for nordstroms so the clothes would be great for all body shapes. Do you have any other ideas of some events I could put together for the awareness week to inform the community about the growing problem and ways to bring positive body image to young boys girls and adults? make it BIG. so people hear about it. i really applaud you for this is a wonderful idea. more people should focus on doing things like this, because we all know…..not everyone is ultra skinny and pampered to look flawless all the time, but we ARE all beautiful. i can’t think of any ideas for you, but if i do, i’ll make sure to tell you what they are.
