Any of these Mystery Shopper Employers Legit?
I got an e-mail the other day, about being a mystery shopper. Anyway, I have some free time in the week, and could use some extra cash, and this actually seems like a pretty cool/fun thing to do in my spare time. So I was wonderring if anyone knew if any them were legit.. like as in a real job.. no BS no scams.. Are there any out there that if someone really applies themselves to do , and does well, will supply some extra income.. The e-mail, I got sounded on the up and up.. It really did, but they wanted me to send them a bunch of my personal info, and that s just not happenning.
I do lots of mystery shopping in the area. I have shopped locations like Bahama Breeze, GNC, UPS Store, and Smoothie King. The following shopper sites are legit, but they do have to ask some personal info like your social security # for tax purposes. Don’t ever use one that asks for a fee. Also, it will improve the likelihood of getting a shopping project if you have completed the certification through the Mystery Shopper Providers Association. If you ever question the validity of a shopping company, check the MSPA website (mysteryshop.org).

Check the directory on mysteryshop.org. There are tons of good companies on there. You can’t get rich doing this, but it’s a good way to earn a little extra lunch money!
