Teaching or fashion?
I’M THINKING ABOUT BECOMING A TEACHER BUT I ALSO WANT TO BE A PERSONAL SHOPPER. I HONESTLYLOVE BOTH AND MY PARENTS ARE HAEDING ME TOWARDS TEACHING BECAUSE AS THEY SAY IN FASHION IT IS HARD TO GET A JOB. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ADVICE AND AN ESTIMATE ON THE INCOME OF AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER AND DO YOU THINK THE INCOME WILL RISE BY THE TIME I FINISH SCHOOL(IN 4 YEARS)
FIRST OF ALL PINKY DIDN’T I JUST SAY THAT I LIKE BOTH SO READ BEFORE YOU START MAKING JUDGEMENTS AND AS FAR AS INCOME YOU HAVE TO THINK ABOUT HOW YOU ARE GOING TO SURVIVE ON A TEACHER’S SALARY, IM 19 YEARS OLD AND THAT’S WHAT WE DO BEFORE WE SETTLE FOR THE CAREER THAT WE WANT. BESIDES I WOULD MAKE A GREAT TEACHER. SO KEEP YOUR SMART ASS COMMENTS TO YOOURSELF.
You need to talk to people with both careers to give you a more accurate idea of such jobs in the long run. Speak to a few people instead of just one. While entry into teaching may be easier, the teaching profession is not as easy as you might think. I’m not sure about the fashion industry.
