Online Personal Shopper Job
When you order your shopping online, say, from Asda?
or Tesco’s, I want a job getting all the items from the store then putting them through the checkout. So, it would be like doing shopping but not spending any money! How would I go about this? Is the job title ‘personal shopper’ or something else? Thanks in advance.
OK I used to work for TESCO and they have a department called Dot Com, which deals with the Internet orders coming in. Basically you work in the regular TESCO store and go around with a trolley and mobile checkout sort of thing and pack up peoples shopping for them, sometimes this role also involves going out in the van and delivering shopping to peoples houses. The best way to get into this job would be to go into your local TESCO or ASDA with a CV, you could include a covering letter saying you would like to work in the on line shopping department. They will get in contact with you if there is a suitable position and call you for an interview. An alternative way is to just hand in your CV without saying you want to go into Internet shopping department because then you don’t limit them and your more likely to be called for interview. In my interview they asked me which department I would prefer to work on so they will probably do the same with you.
